I am so angry....the first I did when I awoke this morning was turn on my computer to see what was going on in Turkey. As I ate breakfast and getting ready for work I had on our local news........NOTHING! Then I went over to Fox and didn't hear anything. I am TOTALLY UPSET with our government! How could they keep this from us. ------------- Angel |

| There was a breif report on our news about it and that was all...and the google alert I got today was about the airlines and how they are afraid people might panic to early..lol..i can post the artical if you would like..but have to run for now..more preps to get.. |

Faux news is too busy trying to decide if people buried are alive or dead, or if missing teens in aruba or alive or dead to be able to help with figuring out if WE will soon be alive or dead. jmo. ------------- It is as bad as you think and they are out to get you. |

i have been trying to find out as much as possible , but everything i have read is different. each report quotes different names, numbers,... what is the best source for accurate info ? please do not suggest the gov't sites, they are always way behind .. ------------- dee |

If you think the reporting is crappy now, consider the lack of
reporting after the Qinghai Lakes explosion. There was not one
story in the US papers. YOu had to go to the Singapore English
language edition newspapers to read about the FluBola outbreak. When the Chinese tried their insane lies about Streptococcus Suis killing all those people, the US papers reported the C0mmunist Chinese story as if it was gospel. There is not such thing as investigative journalism in American newspapers anymore. To find out what was happening, one had to go to Boxun.com and translate the reports secreted out of China. No American newpaper thought that the elimination of entire villages was newsworthy. After all, it was just a few Chinese in a country that has 1.3 Billion. |

The WHO will just not count them as H5N1 and will issue an official announcement that, "Those people died of pneumonia, NOT Bird Flu." |

| Simple. The government controls the media. The media controls the public... answer your question? The government is full of secrecy and lies. I know, I used to be a part of it. The bird flu is not my worry at all. The government on the other hand is my biggest concern of threat. They will kill you before the bird flu even comes close. They will kill you for helping, reporting infected or being infected. The end. the bird flu will take care of the rest. |

Robin, How about finding out exactly what the government plans to do when it goes h2h. Border and airport closings, how food will be distributed when they say they want to close all public meeting places such as the super market etc. A specific or anticipated time table would be interesting. Also what do the experts say about the value of a pneumonia shot against h5n1. Also how the Government will maintain order with most of our military overseas... Also how can they keep announcing on the news that they only expect about one percent to die when currently, with the full support of hospitals, the death rate is over 50% and most informed health care workers seem to be weighing in on quitting if this scourge arrives. How can our government be so brain dead as to shell out a measlely 8 billion to fight this quite possible earth shattering danger and have no problem throwing away 300 billion to fight a phantom danger in Iraq?!
