As we all saw, Argentina went through some major economic crap after that little debacle.

True. The full horror of it was brought home when I saw Simon Weston - an army veteran who was badly burned trying to save his buddies on the Sir Galahad when fuel and ammunition caught fire - walking through my home town a few years after the war. He suffered the most terrible burns and his hands and face have been extensively reconstructed. He's a tireless charity fundraiser and campaigns for better treatment of troops. He's even gotten to the point where he was able to meet and befriend the Argentine pilot who dropped the bomb that nearly killed him.

Tell me something, if you guys have a direction connection to "God" then ask him why 75% of the world needs to die?

I mean he's God!  He created the universe!  He can create a ring of earths around the sun and there will be room for everyone for another billion years!

Read the bible...it is calle Free Will. It is up to us to take care of eachother and the world as a whole.

Beleive me when my 2 year old child died at home from an heart tumor I could have been mad at God. But that is who is now taking care of him until I hope I get to heaven. God never promised us Garden of Eaden but he gave us free will and we must make this life what we can and do what we can for others. That is what it means to be Christian.

God has my child and you know what he did for me...he gave me the faith to still be here and try and tell others that God does exist and he does love you.

FluMom - as a parent, my child means everything to me and my heart goes out to you for your loss. Your strength in dealing with it speaks volumes. I can't even begin to imagine what you must have been through.

Jacksdad, thank you for your kind words.

I would not wish the loss of a child on the worst person in the world. I felt sorry for Sadam when his sons were killed and he and his sons were very bad people.

Faith and prayers from others and God's gift of my second child at 44 has helped me. I care for people and I try to witness and tell people to have Faith in God. This is how I make it every day. I have been Blessed By God.

FluMom, don't forget that your child and husband are blessed too!  Sounds like they have a good Mom and wife.  Thumbs%20Up

Ohh Flumom, my heart just aches...you know we never know the big picture of what God is doing. When we lose someone or something goes wrong, instead of thinking "If God loved us why does he let this happen?" We should probably wonder what they would have gone through if they had lived. Maybe there is a much bigger picture that none of us could even imagine.
God put us here for a reason

I like that one H2H! There is a bigger picture Levygoddess just as you said...we just need to be good to one another.

God did not take my child and he did not let it happen it is just life and it was God's time and in God's plan. I am glad to have had our child's love and grateful and blessed that God saw fit to let us have our second child. Not a replacement but a wonderful loving addition to God's world.

Thank you all for your kind words.

Flumom, I completely understand your pain and loss.  I lost my first born six years ago this July 3.  She passed away as we were planning her sweet sixteen.  It is the worst pain any parent can ever know, and I pray everyday for those of us that do.
We must always fear the wicked. But there is another kind of evil that we must fear the most, and that is the indifference of good men.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I also pray for all of us and the ones that suddenly join us in this journey.

Thank you for your thoughts.
