A woman has just died from an infection which 26 (ie. all of them) different antibiotics failed to treat.

Absence of proof is not proof of absence.

I remember a chance incident with my Mom when she talked about being a nurse in a TB ward just after WWII (ie late 1940s). The relief in her voice, after many many years, made clear the wonder of seeing people recover who previously would have died.  And now we are heading back towards what it was like in our grandparents youth.

ps. I am not surprised that the report indicated that they thought the women was infected in India.
