That is completely untrue.

Whenever Christianity has encountered another faith, its first reaction is to try to demonise it, convert its members, lie about it and eventually go to war with it.  The Crusades, The Holy Inquisition and the treatment of the Native Americans all come immediately to mind, BUT THAT IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG.

Despite this, I have no real quarrel with Christianity.  Everyone makes mistakes and Jesus himself encouraged forgiveness:  "Go and sin no more." comes to mind.

What does make me cross, is people professing to be Christians and eschewing all Christian principles.

Start with the commandments - all TWELVE of them,  the original ten and Jesus's two additions:  To love your God with all your heart with all your soul with all your mind with all your strength and to love your neighbor as yourself.

Quoting untruths is a form of lying: believing them in spite of the evidence is lying to yourself.
Removing healthcare is tantamount to murder,
Twisting the Bible's words is equivalent to insulting God.

Jesus told his followers not to judge one another, to love one another, forgive one another.  He also told people to "Take the plank out of their own eyes first."  In other words, explained for the stupid, "Look at your own faults before judging someone else. - How does that lead to judging the LGBT community?

Christianity teaches the highest level of morality.  Yet the loftier the ideals, the further there is to fall.  THAT WAS NOT AN INVITATION TO TRY!!!
Absence of proof is not proof of absence.
