A good summery of the situation:

This is the DEFCON Warning System. Alert status for 7 P.M., Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017. Condition code is Blue. DEFCON 4.

There are currently no imminent nuclear threats against the United States at this time, however there are events occurring in the world theater which require closer monitoring.

Tensions in the KOREAN theater continue to increase. While the United States has concluded exercises with South Korea, assets continue to move into the area. Numerous Chinese subs have been seen in North Korean waters, along with a large number of U.S. subs. North Korea continues to advance in submarine-launched ballistic missiles, according to U.N. experts, and appears to be accelerating its programme.

SOUTH KOREA has established its THAAD system which CHINA sees as a threat and is taking retaliatory measures. China has placed its bombers on high alert over U.S. posturing.

Continuing in the area, military activity between JAPAN and CHINA near disputed islands increases while China launches its second aircraft carrier. Japan continues to reassess its non-combat policy and is beginning to take a more proactive stance with regard to both North Korea and China.

The U.S. says IRAN fulfilling terms of nuclear deal, but later says that Iran is not meeting “spirit” of agreement.

PAKISTAN military doctrine currently includes uses of nuclear weapons if the country believes it would not result in massive retaliation from INDIA, a significantly dangerous theory.

RUSSIA continues to fly bombers near Alaska while NATO deploys troops to Poland and the United States calls for faster deployment of space-warfare weaponry.

Due to continuing tensions in Korea and the volatility of the situation, we are continuing to hold at Blue for the time being. We will continue to reassess and adjust the code as necessary. We caution the public to not mistake a lack of headlines in the news as a lowering of hostilities.

The DEFCON Warning System is a private intelligence organization which has monitored and assessed nuclear threats against the United States by national entities for over 33 years. It is not affiliated with any government agency and does not represent the alert status of any military branch. The public should make their own evaluations and not rely on the DEFCON Warning System for any strategic planning. At all times, citizens are urged to learn what steps to take in the event of a nuclear attack.

If this had been an actual attack, the DEFCON Warning System will give radiation readings for areas that are reported to it. Your readings will vary. Official news sources will have radiation readings for your area.

For immediate updates, go to www.defconwarningsystem.com . Breaking news and important information can be found on the DEFCON Warning System message board and on the DEFCON Twitter feed DEFCONWSAlerts. You may also subscribe to the You Tube channel DEFCON Warning System and the DEFCON Warning System mailing list. Note that Twitter and You Tube updates may be subject to delays. The next scheduled update is 7 P.M. Pacific Time, May 23rd, 2017. Additional updates will be made as the situation warrants, with more frequent updates at higher alert levels.

DJ: The overview does not mention other conflicts like Ukraine, Syria (Iran-Israel-Saudi Arabia etc) Yemen, Libya, Macedonia, etc. https://already-happened.com/2017/05/02/us-alaska-busy-as-well-with-very-interesting-military-drills-f-22s-f-35s-etc/">https://already-happened.com/2017/05/02/us-alaska-busy-as-well-with-very-interesting-military-drills-f-22s-f-35s-etc/, https://www.rt.com/news/386923-blast-nato-vehicles-afghanistan-kabul/ (US is claiming that Russia is working with the taliban against IS).

New fronts are very likely to show up in the coming days. Venezuela is moving into disaster. Southern Africa is in constant crisis. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Mali_conflict All of Africa may end up in several wars. "Failed states can become a new normal" bringing massive death.

China still doing trade with NK.

DJ: good story

Japan and South Korea aim for more American involvement in the region, but for very different reasons.

The South Korean elite is in a crisis, Park Geun-hye daughter of the founder of the country having been fined for corruption and the likely new president seeming to have positions on the DPRK and the alliance with the US that are very different from that of his predecessors. The danger the US sees is that a substantial part of the South Korean elite prefers a shift from a strongly anti-DPRK and pro-US policy to a more balanced one, especially with China, South Korea's main partner. The best solution to prevent this change is to raise the level of tension with the DPRK (and, as a consequence, with China), aiming to solidify the US presence in the country (witness the urgent deployment of the THAAD system, which candidate Moon Jae-in seems to oppose).

The Japanese case is even more explicit, with Abe's nationalist vision aiming for a constitutional revision that does away with the limits placed on Tokyo’s armed forces.

The US war industry will of course benefit, ready to sell weapons of all kinds to Japan in to reassure its ally over the “North Korean threat”.

DJ: The US itself has lots of internal political problems, even worse-the political chaos in Europe could get worse with a Le Pen victory in France coming Sunday. The French elections are becoming a repeat of the US elections. In the US the "democracy"ended up with a "choice" between war-criminal clinton or fraud trump. In France the choice is between bankster macron or neo-nazi le pen.
(A choice between being kicked or beaten-this is not how democracy should work !)

DJ: Both in Korea and the Middle East the "west"/US is pushed to the sidelines (by the "east"/Russia-Iran-China).

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-04/war-words-escalates-china-blasts-hyper-aggressive-north-koreas-irrational-logic (For China the NK nuclear test has other risks-close to the border-than for the US. When negotiations fail NK will do their nuclear test but pay with a very high price-China could stop all trade. A war in Korea proberbly will be the result of NK actions. Trump does not want to start a major conflict, Russia and China also rather end present wars, not start new ones. In the Middle East Israel, Saudi Arabia see Iran growing its influence. Turkey-Iran-Russia can "limit" actions by "the west". NATO-planes operating above Syria and Iraq will have to do so from Jordan ? Russian (and Iranian???) planes on Turkish-NATO-airbases? ) http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-05/north-korea-accuses-cia-plotting-biochemical-attack-against-kim-jong-un, https://www.rt.com/news/387222-kim-biochemical-assassination-plot/

DJ: History of cold war; http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-04/deep-history-us-britains-never-ending-cold-war-russia (According to sme historians the "cold war" started when the US reached it western limits and Russia its eastern limits-selling "Russian America=Alaska" to the US was part of that 19th century "cold war".)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NG3wkg-KuCQ DJ; Israeli News Live has some  "interesting" items,

-Russia and US would be talking about an exchange Syria for the US, (Eastern) Ukraine for Russia.

-A "North Korean young woman wants to be rescued by the US".

DJ, I think Russia and the US realize that war is not a realistic option on the longer term. Russia will NOT give up its position in the Middle East. Russia does not want just the eastern part of Ukraine in exchange for Syria (or Middle East). Russia is part of a larger coalition with Iran and China. If the US realy does not understand Russia's position it may take some time before some realism shows up. (Of course Israeli News Live is the source of this "news" but it may reflect what is happening.)

Russia and China most likely will NOT accept US (major) military action against North Korea. (Eventhough Russia and China may consider Kim as a problem).

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-14/least-200000-victims-europol-fears-computers-simply-wont-start-monday-after-unrivall It is not clear who is behind the cyber-war. North Korea ? IS ? Criminals ? The CIA or another "intelligence" group (from some country or organization, could it even be a sort of "Snowden" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Snowden gone criminal ?

A very big risk in this story could be that the virus/worm is "out of control" and could be bringing down this modern https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tower_of_Babel. See also http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-14/worried-about-wannacry-you-should-have-listened-julian-assange. (I do not believe in coincidence much, the New Silk Road forum in China and the "global" cyber attack is linked ?????)

Trump will visit Israel and Saudi Arabia coming week. http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2017/05/15/521918/Trump-MidEast-visit-all-about-Israel. Selling more weapons, spread more war-total insane !

http://www.globaltimes.cn/content/1046944.shtml China is going further in its "Belt and Road forum", a new Silk Road under Chinese leadership. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shanghai_Cooperation_Organisation Western media seem to be totally blind on non-western global economic initiatives.

Turkey-Russia-Iran-China (TRIC) may be working an a new non-western world order. That system would not use the US$ (and thereby end the US as a major economic player). The EU, Africa, Latin America proberbly will do some sort of deals with TRIC. Present global conflicts have to be seen with this TRIC background.

For most countries the US is the country to blame for the chaos in the Middle East-the Iraq war, regime changes by the "western elite" are unacceptable for most countries. Jordan and Lebanon do want to stay out of the Syria and Iraq war-they do not want chaos inside their borders. If that would mean asking for Russian "assistence" (to get rid of US/UK "aid") they have no choice. They do not want to become another Iraq, Libya or Ukraine !

We live in "interesting times", hope we survive it !

US warcrimes in Syria:

good to follow:

Syria:

DJ; The US is attacking pro-Assad forces in southern Syria to get control over the Syria-Iraq-Jordan border area (and oil/gas fields). The goal of the US (UK, France etc) is to avoid the Tehran-Lebanon axis. Western forces may face fighting with Iraq PMU, Iran, Hezbollah and SAA in this invasion.

Eventhough the US keeps selling record amounts of weapons to Saudi Arabia-the main sponsor of IS-IS is being replaced by "moderate terrorists" (like al-quada) as western ally. In Turkey the US/NATO will support Erdogan in his genocide on the Kurds-as the west has been doing for decades. The US support for the Kurds in Syria has to do with creating a buffer between Syria and Iraq/Iran. The US wants to control the Raqqa-Deir ez-Zor-Al-Qaim https://syria.liveuamap.com/ line.

https://www.rt.com/news/388888-us-strike-syria-forces/ For Russia the US agression against Syria is unacceptable.

North Korea:

http://edition.cnn.com/2017/05/18/asia/ferry-russia-north-korea/index.html?sr=twcnni051817ferry-russia-north-korea1010AMStoryLink&linkId=37718529 A new ferry-line between Rason NK and Vladivostok-Russia makes clear how Russia wants to deal with the US build-up for war(s). http://tass.com/economy/945934 Russia and China will develop East Asia region US intervention is not welcome. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-18/us-deploys-second-aircraft-carrier-toward-korean-peninsula

Latin America:

http://www.voltairenet.org/article196335.html The "west" is creating chaos in Venezuela, Brazil, etc. in an effort to limit the growth of China-Russian influence. Earlier there were reports of new "contras" in Venezuela terrorising border regions, A secret Russian bases in Nicaragua. Without the US there would not be a "civil-drugs-war" in Mexico.

China will build nuclear reactors in Argentina http://en.people.cn/n3/2017/0518/c90000-9217426.html wich will join the AIIB.

Several U.S. senators have expressed their support for the creation of the APSI: “Like you, we remain concerned with the eroding military balance,” the senators said in a letter to Secretary Mattis penned in February. They called on Secretary Mattis to maintain U.S. leadership in the Asia-Pacific and said that the initiative will show both allies and adversaries that the U.S. remains committed to the region.

But rather than boost confidence in U.S. commitment, the initiative shows just how out-of-step the U.S. has become with the changing world order. Building an iron wall of military power to maintain dominance might reassure U.S. allies, such as Japan, but the effort goes squarely against the region’s efforts to promote common development and win-win cooperation. In addition, Asia-Pacific-focused initiatives such as the APSI are likely to be seen as moves to contain China, increasing friction between the two major countries.

Rather than seek dominance in the region, the U.S. should follow in China’s footsteps and seek integration. With the Belt and Road Initiative, China is playing a constructive role in the region, focusing tremendous efforts and resources on promoting an open and inclusive plan that will benefit not only China, but all countries of the world, regardless of their size, strength, or regime type. This stands in stark contrast to the Pentagon-backed plan.

US:

http://www.moonofalabama.org/2017/05/the-special-council-investigation-will-be-bad-for-trump.html# In the US post-election chaos goes on.

Sanctions:

The US (and some EU-countries) have put sanctions on North Korea, Syria, Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela (etc) and still claim A; the west is "good" the others are "bad", B sanctions are isolating even countries that share borders (like Russia and China). These sanctions have become counter-productive, push countries to one another (like NK to Russia and China). The sanctions also damage international trade-the EU will not be able to go on with these sanctions with Trump putting up trade-borders for the US as well. The outcome is that western sanctions encourage a non-western trade system and dumping of the US$.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-21/world-leaders-gather-beijing-while-us-sinks-irrelevancy The one clear message the Beijing meeting sent out to the world is that America’s «unipolar» vision of the world was dead and buried. Even among Washington’s longtime friends and allies, one will not hear Donald Trump referred to as the «leader of the Free World.» That phrase has been discarded into the waste bin of history along with America’s insistence that it is the world’s only «superpower.» The United States is a power, a second-rate one that happens to possess a first-rate nuclear arsenal. But nuclear weapons were not being discussed in Beijing. Major projects were on the agenda, projects that when completed will leave the United States at sea in the propeller wash.

Trump is in Saudi Arabia claiming that the Gulf States want to fight terror that Iran creates.

DJ, The US-like most western democracies-is in a political crisis. Selling for billions of $ weapons to countries that give them to IS around the globe in a "war against terror" is insane.

Climate change is getting out of control. The US does not recognize the problem at the moment. Public healthcare under Trump is worsening, just like education, public housing etc.

Western countries may face severe civil unrest if they do not solve that kind of problems.

Syria:

After US attacks on Iran, Iraq forces in southern Syria Russia is moving in https://syria.liveuamap.com/en/2017/21-may-russian-flag-raised-over-1-of-fsa-bases-captured-by to deal with "western backed terrorists" in the region. https://syria.liveuamap.com/en/2017/21-may-russian-military-police-are-currently-securing-alwaer Russian MP's in central Syria. http://www.debka.com/article/26066/Russian-paratroops-move-to-Syrian-border-triangle (DJ maybe to fight terrorism Russia could attack US weapons-shipments to Saudi Arabia ? How much more insults should the average Amarican citizen accept ? US taxpayers money is used to finance terrorgroups and then more tax money is needed to fight terror ? Does Trump realy expect other countries will support this absurdism ?) https://southfront.org/syrian-government-forces-recapture-50-km-of-border-with-jordan/, https://southfront.org/russia-may-deploy-special-operations-fores-to-support-syrian-troops-advancing-in-southeastern-syria/

North Korea:

North Korea continues to test weapons of mass destruction.
More alarming: re-entry of a missile brings it closer to ICBM's
SEOUL, May 22 (Yonhap) -- North Korea on Monday disclosed scores of photos of the Earth taken from mid-atmosphere via a camera installed on a ballistic missile which it test-fired the previous day, in an apparent bid to show off its missile atmospheric reentry technology. https://southfront.org/north-korea-continues-missile-tests-launches-unidentified-ballistic-missile/">https://southfront.org/north-korea-continues-missile-tests-launches-unidentified-ballistic-missile/

(The US attack on Deir enZur-SAA positions, the cruise missiles on a Syrian air base after a (rebel) gas incident and the latest US attack on pro-Assad forces in southern Syria were all "mistakes" according to this MoA-story. The US-support for the Kurdish YPG is temporary-the US also keeps supporting Turkey in its fight against the Kurds. In northern Syria the Kurds did get Russian protection against Turkish attacks. Further Kurdish involvement in the battle for Raqqa-without a realistic US perspective-will give Russia further chances to pick up a role. On the Kurdish issue Iran and Turkey are-more or less-allies. NATO has a history of supporting genocide on the Kurds in both countries for decades.)

Philipines:

The Philipines have to pay a price for its cooperation with Russia and China. The IS invasion fits a pattern as IS as a proxy army.

Latin America:

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-24/will-venezuela-be-battleground-next-us-russia-proxy-war Bankruptcy of Venezuela state oil could mean that Russia gets the instalations, China the oil-they are the main creditors.
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-25/trump-may-have-taken-money-illegal-syrian-oil-sales-bbg In a report published Thursday, Bloomberg alleges that Citgo officials were involved in a plot to illegally disguise Syrian crude and sell it at gas stations in the U.S..

Citgo, the U.S. arm of Petroleos de Venezuela, the country's state-owned oil firm, controversially made a $500,000 donation to Trump's inauguration fund, which Bloomberg noted was larger than donations from other U.S. corporations.

With oil production in Venezuela seemingly on the brink of collapse, Venezeulan officials allegedly entered into a conspiracy to help disguise the source of Syrian crude, allowing the troubled Socialist "republic" to sell the oil below market price and reap higher profits. The plot was allegedly organized by a Venezuelan oil trader who was Bloomberg's main source for the story.

Wilmer Ruperti, the trader in question, acknowledged his participation in the scheme during a phone interview, Bloomberg reported. Ruperti said he no longer has a role in the scheme, and Bloomberg reported that it’s unclear whether the operation is ongoing. Ruperti says Syrian officials approached him in early 2012 during a party at the Syrian Club of Caracas.

Unsurprisingly, there's a Russian angle to the story, too.

With Venezuela’s government bleeding revenue, Petroleos de Venezuela year used just under half of its Citgo shares as collateral for a loan from Rosneft, according to a Nov. 30 financial statement filed in Delaware. A group of U.S. senators recently noted that, thanks to Rosneft’s recent purchase of bonds for the troubled oil company on the open market, the Russian oil giant could wind up controlling Citgo should Petroleos de Venezuela default.

Middle East:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UDszzgxnQY&t=325s Israeli News Live, The "west" is preparing for a war with Iran. With the son of the latest shah to become the next dictator. (History repeats itself).

Korea:

The US is preparing for "military action" against North Korea. The USS Carl Vinson, the USS Ronald Reagan and USS Nimitz are in that region. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-27/us-deploys-third-aircraft-carrier-toward-north-korea

Syria and Iraq:

[url]https://southfront.org/popular-mobilization-units-captured-adnaniya-qahtaniya-road-north-east-al-baaj/  PMU in Iraq wants to control Syrian-Iraq-Jordan border. (against US).

https://southfront.org/sdf-allow-isis-withdraw-raqqah-fight-syrian-army-near-palmyra-russian-media/ Is IS now renamed Free Syrian Army ? (They were fighting with western weapons-they get from Saudi Arabia) In northern Syria https://southfront.org/sdf-denies-agreement-isis-raqqah-blames-syrian-iranian-russian-alliance-making-agreements-isis-near-palmyra/ IS-fighters may switch armies to survive.

Egypt-Libya:

https://www.rt.com/news/389963-libya-tripoli-rival-clashes/ The UN recognized Tripoli government is under attack by (NATO supported, weapons from Turkey and Qatar) "moderate rebels". These "rebels" are under Egyptian attack. http://libya.liveuamap.com/  Egypt and Russia are backing Haftar in eastern Libya (proberbly moving towards military intervention with Russian and Egyptian forces fighting western backed chaos in Libya.)

G7

Trumps rude behavior at the G7-top (and earlier at the NATO-top) will also increase a role for Russia and China. Insulting Germans/Merkel for "to many German cars on US streets" and "to little European money spent on US weapons" give a wrong signal. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-27/merkel-furious-trump-after-unprecedented-g-7-failure-reach-consensus-climate-change

When the US wants to go to war on several fronts it should treat its friends better. The EU is willing to support the US but when the US prefers Arab dictators as "friends"  (and leaves the US with a refugee-crisis as a result, terrorism etc.) it has its price. In China there was a large New Silk Road meeting just previous to the G7 meeting. http://www.globaltimes.cn/ Russia-Iran-China want to make bussinessdeals with the EU.

Mohammad Hashemi Rafsanjani, a leading member of the Iranian parliament’s Expediency Council, claimed these multi-billion dollar arms sales may ultimately backfire on the Saudi regime. Rafsanjani warned that one day, the Saudis may end up turning these weapons against the Saudi royal family.

“We have seen it all before. The Saudis are spending billions on arms which they don’t have the capacity to absorb. At the same time they are facing rebellion at home they are trying to hide and a costly war in Yemen,” Rafsanjani said, according to the Independent.

Drawing a parallel with recent Iranian history, during which the U.S. was very friendly with the Middle Eastern nation while it was under the rule of Shah Reza Pahlavi, a brutal, U.S.-installed dictator, Rasfanjani stated the following:

“The Shah, too, spent billions of dollars buying arms from America, he too had capacity problems. We had 65,000 Americans in Iran, most of them in the armed forces. But then came the revolution and the weapons were used against him and his regime.

“We watch what is going on in Saudi Arabia and I think the fate of the Saudi royal family will be the same as that of [the Shah’s dynasty] the Pahlavis. There is less and less space in the world for absolute monarchies like the Saudis”. [emphasis added]

As I did write in my latest post the G7/NATO meetings will have an effect on global developments.

With elections coming in Germany, Macron the new French president, http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2017/05/29/523513/france-macron-putin-russia European leaders seem to gain popularity by making clear "alternatives for the EU" after the Brexit. Was the UK a bridgehead for the US in the EU ? Maybe it was more then most realized. Putin visits Paris today, http://www.globalresearch.ca/isis-touches-down-in-the-philippines-islamic-state-mayhem-in-mindanao/

Asia:

The unipolar US approach will keep giving conflicts with China. (DJ: If the US wants to keep much of its global control it has to find an answer to the Russia-Iran-China block. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-28/russia-and-iran-sign-oil-goods-barter-deal-escape-petrodollar Confrontation makes RIC stronger.)

Philipines https://southfront.org/61-isis-members-killed-in-clashes-in-philippines-marawi-photos-videos/ close to 200 people being killed in this IS-local war. (IS using mainly US weapons ? Fighters from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand brought to the Philipines by who ?) http://www.globalresearch.ca/isis-touches-down-in-the-philippines-islamic-state-mayhem-in-mindanao/5592326

Syria https://southfront.org/us-led-coalition-warns-the-syrian-army-not-to-approach-al-tanf-town/ The "Free Syrian Army"-working with IS troops-under US supervision attacking the Syrian (and Russian) forces in South Syria. The US leadership is under pressure:

http://www.moonofalabama.org/2017/05/us-wants-control-of-anbar-and-beyond-iraq-and-syria-will-prevent-it.html# The US wants a US company to exploit the Bagdad-Amman highway with Blackwater "security" (under another name) looking after safety.

https://www.rt.com/news/390118-lavrov-egypt-libya-terrorism-west/ "The West" seems unable to realize there are other views than "western views". For most people in this world "the West" is not peacefull or just-just rich.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpueKU_qo-Q Israeli News Live is correct in saying that in Syria quite a lot of fighting is done by people "for rent" . Russia, Israel. US, Saudi Arabia paying fighters for a war that is destroying their homes.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-29/russia-expects-china-help-resolve-syrian-crisis-restore-country and http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2017/05/29/523554/Irans-membership-to-EEU-to-complete-by-2018 Non-western global cooperation is moving fast. The EU may notice it-could choose to do more deals with China, Russia if Trump wants to protect US markets.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-29/james-mattis-war-north-korea-would-be-catastrophic and a military solution for the North Korean problem is not very realistic to control. (DJ, North Korea is a problem-but the solution is cooperation between the West and the East-maybe even joined military action. The US/West can not "do that job" on their own.)

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-30/nato-recoils-trump-spending-salvos

DJ; Will there be a major war the coming months ? I have my doubts. NATO is splitting up and that means that one "block" to start a major war is disintegrating. The "differences of interests and opinions" between the US and other NATO members go back further than Trump.

In the Ukraine-crisis "F..k the EU" as the official US view, NSA spying on other NATO members head of state are beginning to effect the US relations with other NATO-members.

Also in the mind is the way the US dealt with the situation after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1990. US foreign policy then was to avoid the EU getting to close to a new Russia.

The refugee-crisis, chaos in the Middle-East, no progress on Israel is seen in most EU-countries as the outcome of US foreign policy wich was NOT in European interest.

Southern EU-states, Spain and Portugal-would like to do more business with Latin America-but find other countries playing another game there. Russia and China against the US in a new front of an insane "cold war".

Climate policies is one of many issues of disagreement; fossil fuels are outdated for most countries except the US-wich is still fighting oil-wars around the globe (Syria, Iraq, Libya, South Chine Sea, Venezuela).

Canada, Mexico-as part of Latin America, Africa and the EU can try to find a constructive way in dealing with Russia, China (India, Iran etc.). The EU mostly has seen what wars bring. An educated European only can hate war. Sees a "military solution" as a last resort and to be avoided at almost al costs.

The present US is spreading war around the globe in its failing "war on drugs", "war on terror" etc. Drugs, terror only became a bigger problem. Most Americans would like to see a change but the last US elections did bring two criminals as potential president.

It is time for the US to deal with corrupt politics-get rid of people like Trump, clinton, the Bush-mafia etc. or face the consequences-isolation.

Climate change is getting out of control and should be priority number one. Good healthcare, education, housing are state matters not to be left to a "free market" when the outcome is increasing income inequality, paying more for less as a norm.

The US should not expect a lot of support in an attack on North Korea on this bases. US support for IS has to stop.

http://www.debka.com/newsupdatepopup/20700/Lavrov-warns-Washington-against-use-of-force-in-Syria, http://www.debka.com/article/26078/Indirect-US-talks-for-ISIS-fighters-to-exit-Raqqa, https://southfront.org/russian-foreign-ministry-unidentified-aircraft-assist-isis-afghanistan/ (Proberbly the US played an (in)direct role in supporting IS in Nigeria, Philipines both oil-linked- and elsewere. The CIA is the main drugs distributer in the world while the US claims to be fighting drugs. Most terrorism in the world has US fingerprints-impossible to claim that the US is fighting terror when weapons, explosives, logistics etc indicate the US as the main (co)actor.)

The wahabist royal dictatorship Saudi Arabia thinks the wahabist emirat dictatorship is "to friendly with Iran". The US has it main airbase in Qatar, its main navalbase in Bahrain-where Saudi military keep another dictatorship in position.

Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Gulf States support IS, Al Qaeda and other "moderate terrorists" with large western support. So for that west this scenario-in wich the US and UK did sell king Salman for billions of weapons-must be a nightmare. https://southfront.org/saudi-arabia-egypt-uae-bahrain-cut-diplomatic-ties-shut-borders-qatar/ (Turkey also has a base in Qatar)

Some sources think it might be possible Saudi Arabia does take military action against Qatar. (US weapons against US weapons)

The Saudi-UAE warning to the Qatari emir did not specify the penalties he faced for disobedience. The virtual blockade announced Monday may be the first course. Our sources in the Gulf disclose that a small-scale military operation against a Qatari target might still be on the cards. Neither do they rule out the undercover agencies of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE engineering a coup d’etat for unseating the Al-Thani clan in Doha.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4288768/Malaysian-police-say-foiled-attack-Arab-royalty-ahead-Saudi-King-visit.html">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4288768/Malaysian-police-say-foiled-attack-Arab-royalty-ahead-Saudi-King-visit.html King Salman is 81 and several people are waiting to succeed him. This "king" also did buy-as a private property-a nuclear bomb from Pakistan in 2015 http://www.timesofisrael.com/report-saudis-may-purchase-pakistani-atomic-bomb/. Veterans Today claimed a nuclear weapon was used in the Yemen genocide/"war" (but by Israel after Saudi Arabia requested it) http://www.veteranstoday.com/2016/09/24/how-israel-was-busted-nuking-yemen/

DJ: Saudi Arabia is proberbly involved in "military action" in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Bahrein, and maybe also in Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon. Qatar could ask Iran (or Turkey) for protection against Saudi Arabia. This could become a further escalation of the Saudi-Iran war. With the US having two main military stations in different camps. The western foreign policy "weapons for oil" has become a major disaster.

-Globalization:

DJ; There is an Eur-Asian market of over 5 billion consumers for German electric cars with Chinese solar batteries. Getting rid of fossil fuels could bring the EU and China (and India, Turkey etc.) closer; they both are buyers of fossil fuels and looking for cheaper alternatives they can control themselves. (No Arab/Russian deals, no US-petro-dollar).

-Middle East:

DJ: The outcome of trumps visit and weapondeals with "king" salman (81) of the wahabist terror sponsor saudi arabia is getting clear. The "king" wants war with Iran and trump is willing to enable that.

The US presence inside Syria is illegal. US attacks on (pro) Syrian forces inside Syria go against international law. A US-Saudi "government change"in Qatar could start a larger conflict with Turkey, Iraq, Iran (now) backing Qatar.

The "king" for the moment has a.o. Egypt on his side. But "leaders" who only start wars do not live long. (Certainly when you are 81 !).

My impression is that Jordan allows western forces to act in Syria but want to limit its own actions to not end up with "inviting the neighbours wars inside their own house". Fossil fuels are under pressure, with that the US-oil-linked-$ is under pressure.

Enough US/western people realize that. How to deal with it has many answers. There is an elite with (still) large interests in fossil fuels. They want that changed for other interests. (Dump oil and by "green energy companies" -requiering some grid to get profits-when all consumers can create energy themselves there is no "moneymachine" for an elite.)

"Friendly faces can turn grim when words need actions".

http://www.debka.com/newsupdatepopup/20754/UK-FM-Johnson-People-ask-how-terrorist-slipped-through-the-net (DJ; Theresa May has a lot to explain-the 3 latest terrorists were also known to the police).

UK:

http://www.bbc.com/news/election-2017-40173107
In the UK people at least had a real choice between a party that want to cut spending on police combining with selling weapons to IS sponsors-or the Labour-party that want to limit putting more weapons in conflictzones. The NHS-public healthcare-also being an issue. The outcome in the UK can determine how wars will evolve in the Middle East-with or without the UK. How the Brexit wil go-a conflict or a compromise.

Middle East:

http://www.moonofalabama.org/2017/06/the-saudis-demand-total-surrender-but-qatar-may-not-fold.html#

-Turkey want to send 3000 military to a base in Qatar
-Qatar is preparing for an invasion by Saudi Arabia (or will the US play a role inside Qatar?)
-In Southern Syria pro-Assad forces are fighting with the US proxy "Free Syrian Army" (partly former IS fighters under another name, "moderate al-qaeda western backed terrorists" with support of US/UK special forces)
-Iran blames the terrorist attacks on Saudi Arabia (and the US).

DJ: The war(s) in the Middle East are escalating-it will be a matter of hours before a full war between Iran( and Turkey ?) and Saudi Arabia (and US) could develop. NATO in fact is in a crisis with Germany pulling its planes/staff from Turkey. Turkey getting close to conflicts with the US (over US YPG-Kurds-support in Syria, Qatar etc.)

Korea:

North Korea tests ground-ship-missiles.

Also west of Raqqa fighting between US/Kurdish?Arab forces and pro-Assad forces.
