I am trying to decide when to stop wild bird feeding, even if only the B2B reaches higher levels in my area?

I don't want to attract infected birds to my place.  I think I'll stop feeding local wild birds when B2H increases in my area but I am curious what others are doing or plan?

Flubird,

An infected bird will shed virus from every orifice while they are alive and are a contamination risk after they die. The virus can stay alive for 48 hours under regular conditions or longer under ideal conditions.

The virus can gain access to your body through your eyes, nose, by hand-to-mouth contamination or by eating under-cooked infected meat.

The decision may be made for you via local ordinance or concerned neighbor.

Just stop now.Maybe they will find a new food source before  H5 comes to your area.
And maybe the migrators will go else where.
One less thing to worry about  espically if you have cats and dogs who go in and out too.
