I am thinking he is wrong this time around.  A lot of things play into this.  First, testing isn't happening on a widespread basis as it was before.  Second, people aren't getting as sick and/or going to the hospital as much.  So even if we did have a surge, I am not even sure how it would be detected.  Even my kids school stopped sending emails to families when there are cases.  It just seems that no one wants to even track it anymore.  So my guess is we will not see a big rise like other countries this go around....and I hope I am right!

To clarify, what I meant is that because there is less testing, we will not see the rise as we should.  But it will be there.

Covid is here forever, Its now part of our society. Just like the seasonal cold. 


Coronavirus is exceptionally good at varying. There will be new variants every year, and therefore a new vaccine's needed every year.
