I came home this morning to see EMR at my neighbors house.   There was an ambulance supervisor there.  Everybody was gowned up.   Full PPD.  The patient was wrapped in a cocoon.  The face was vsible but was probably still covered in plastic.  The patient works at the local Lowes Home improvement store.

Last night she was outside feeling fine and enjoying herself with her kids/grand kids and dogs.

About how old.  And were you saying she was ill or dead.  Could not tell from your post.

Oh my gosh! That must have been terrible for everyone involved.  Definitely joining the prayers for her and her family.

Sorry to leave you guys hanging...   I posted that right before work today.   I was hoping for more info by now.   I haven't seen anybody outside their and I would feel very awkward knocking on the door and being nosy.

The lady is in her late 50's to early 60's.   I didn't get the feeling that she was in critical condition condition.   They weren't in a big hurry to take her.   However being that she was in high fowler's position it s likely that she was having respiratory symptoms.   Maybe everyone with breathing issues gets that treatment right now.

Or she may have had heart problems and/or been having heart failure due to pneumonia.

Hey DeepThinker, I realize because of your work that you may not want to go near house 'in case', but an easy way to find out what is going on - would be to call and ask if they need anything.  If you offer to drop off a casserole type meal on their doorstep, or to shovel a walk way, or even just to keep an eye on their place if they have to be at hospital for extended periods - I'm pretty sure they'll let you know what's wrong or at least you'll have an idea of timeline (if they say she'll be right home, or they'll be gone lots would appreciate the extra eyes on place etc)…

If it's to be - it's up to me!
