The USA's CDC provides a weekly flu summary https://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/

It seems that all the lock downs and social distancing and use of masks has put the brakes on with regard to flu.  Pity that does not work for covid-19!

Flu deaths (the lower yellow figures) have yet to register, and there has only been one flu death in children this year (against a yearly average of 126, from 2003 to 2020)

The same here, the only ray of hope in our creaking NHS.  Perhaps there is a mask-wearing lesson here for all the West.

How do you tell if a politician is lying?
His lips or pen are moving.
