Years ago after reading a book about Russia in WWII and how they were starving and no heat in the winter of the war, it made me think. In the book I read, the title had Winter in it can't remember, said that people could not give their jewels, gold/silver, furs away for food or wood/coal because their was no food, no wood/coal. So that is when I started to build my food and heat reserves, I told my son nothing you have will purchase food or warmth if there is none available so food and wood are worth more than anything for your family. Gold price today 3/19/2020 : Gold $1,473.00 -0.43% Gold March 2, 2020 : $1,599.69 , so my theory was correct all those years ago! |

During the Weimar republic in Germany in the early 1920's, it was reported that people from the towns travelled out to the farms with suitcases full of silver cutlery and silver teapots and family jewelry, and they travelled back again with suitcases full of cabbages. They were that desperate. |

Those who got it wrong, for whatever reason, may feel defensive and retrench into a position that doesn’t accord with the facts.

Hang in there, folks.....times have changed. The US has a 1.39 BILLION pound surplus of cheese in storage, and there are ample supplies of other food-stuffs. https://www.vox.com/science-and-health/2018/6/28/17515188/us-cheese-surplus-billion-pounds Of course, minimize waste as much as possible, and buy nutrient-dense food. I just bought 6 large jars of peanut butter, and a person can survive all day on a single large spoonful of peanut butter with a few carbs and water. Other great foods include canned or dried beans, canned tuna, dried pasta etc. You know what you need. AFT are the best-prepared folks I know of, the world needs us not to lose our shit at this time. Keep communicating, stay in touch, use Messenger and remain vigilant. This is the real deal. Be safe and remain healthy, Chuck |
