One problem with this virus is they don't even know if there is going to be herd immunity. No one knows if you can get it again. They are just assuming............. |

It appears that you usually do get an immunity - but it is short lived. The exact length of time you are immune for is unknown as yet and may vary quiite a bit from one person to another as well . This would mean that vaccines would need regular boosters - maybe every year, or every 5 like tetanus and herd immunity could ONLY be achieved with both a vaccine and a high compliance rate for using it. |
