Of those 48 new antibody resistant mutations, 27 are circulating in humans. To date 2737 mutations have been identified in the S gene of COV2 isolated in humans. 86% of the isolates from the D614G strain have been found to have antibody resistant mutations.

Thankfully, antibodies only make up part of the immune response.  But that is still bad news!

Vaccine induced antibodies might well have their effectiveness greatly reduced or be non effective on these antibody resistant mutations.
