OK.....Albert......a question for you, if I may?  Just how many of you are there?   It seems like one person could not do as much as you do.  I think there must be at least half a dozen of you to accomplish as much as you do.

Thanks for your time, efforts, and commitment.  Clap

Thanks abeamreach.  It's just me at the present time.  Although,  the members here play a big role in running this forum for the most part.  This situation of preparedness that we've all been placed in, seems to have attracted some very good people.

I appreciate the support,
A

Very generouse of Dr. Gregor to offer up his e-book.  I found it even more cool that any profits he generates from book sales or speaking enagements he donates back to charity!  Clap

From his book regarding accounts of the 1918 flu.......

There was one autopsy finding physicians reported having never seen before. As people choked to death, violently coughing up as much as two pints of yellow-green pus per day,36 their lungs would sometimes burst internally, forcing air under pressure up underneath their skin. In the Proceedings of the Royal Society of Medicine, a British physician noted “one thing that I have never seen before—namely the occurrence of subcutaneous emphysema”—pockets of air accumulating just beneath the skin—“beginning in the neck and spreading sometimes over the whole body.”37 These pockets of air leaking from ruptured lungs made patients crackle when they rolled onto their sides. In an unaired interview filmed for a PBS American Experience documentary on the 1918 pandemic, one Navy nurse compared the sound to a bowl of Rice Krispies. The memory of that sound—the sound of air bubbles moving under people’s skin—remained so vivid that for the rest of her life, she couldn’t be in a room with anyone eating that popping cereal.38

Iread this book today...it's very good, very sobering. This book has moved me to be fully convinced of this threat. My husband and I will know really plan and  prepare. I will share this with everyone-it has the credibilty and easy language to reach just about anyone.

I am really impressed by the many sources and quotes from the experts in medicine, government, and food industries. The facts and science are  very convincing.
A couple of things have strong wow factor...1-1.5 billion dead-and a time span of 18-24 months.

After explaining the history of 1918 flu... I can see how this is really inevitable and catastrophic.

Buy Tamilflu, alcohol, chlorox, food and water while there is still time. Educate your family and friends...and pray. This is going to explode and be ferocious in it's attack. Time is the commodity we cannot waste.
Best wishes...MJ

What purpose does posting or writing of hideous horrible death scenarios serve?

I don't understand your comment.  If the facts are correct, why wouldn't  you want to know them so you can assess the probability of them effecting your life?

I often think of Ayn Rand's position;
You can ignore reality, but you can't ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.

Because I've spent 27 years in acute care nursing, and seen more than enough real life "horrible death scenarios" I think people should have the choice to be prepared based on the experts best recommendations.

If those recommendations are 'hideous and horrible" then they will most likely move people to think and act.
It helped me move past indecision, and decide to act.
I hope it does the same for others.

It also helps relieves my conscious of any guilt I would feel for not warning other people of this potential catastrophe.
