Michael Burgess (R-TX) reports from the floor of the House that the Republicans have been cut out of the process and called unpatriotic for not blindly supporting the fraudulent bailout. He says the only debate has been about what talking points to use on the American people. The most ominous revelation is when he claims the Speaker has declared martial law. “I have been thrown out of more meetings in this capital in the last 24 hours than I ever thought possible, as a duly elected representative of 825,000 citizens of north Texas.” Said Congressman Burgess. Burgess asks the Speaker of the House to post the bailout bill on the internet for at least 24 hours instead of passing the largest piece of legislation in US financial history in the “dark of night.” The most frightening part of Rep. there is a video with this, of the guy speaking on the house floor, and he states that Martial law was declared. I wanted to post asap, will try to get the video to come up. |

Figurative martial law, Brad. The congressman was referring to the house Dems kicking the Republicans out of every meeting regarding the $700 billion bill. Last I checked, the speaker of the house did not have the power to do that. ....................................................................................................................................... another topic in other areas on here... have been addressed on our site... They are training the national guard to take care of any and all insanity that could come about...as the military is all at sea now. like if someone tried to nuke us or whatever, then... Section 1076 is Enabling Act-type legislation-something that purports to preserve law-and-order while formally empowering the president to rule by decree. |

Mary you are exactly right. What concerns me, is that the American public is not being told this. This is perhaps one of the biggest events of our lifetime. Then as you say, having the brigade of soldiers on American soil, to protect us, we have been in this war for many years, why all of a sudden does tht become nessecary? No one is talking on either side and I do not like that. Then we have the flu popping up all over again, Vietnam, Iraq, Mexico, now possibly the US. It is begining to look like a perfect storm to me. Anyone who can see the situation we live in currently and not be a prepper is not in their right mind in my estimation. It also amazed me at the speed in which they could use Martial law, to achieve their goals, I am not saying it is or is not needed. All I know, is it was lightening fast to be enacted and the power to object to this bill in essense is gone, even though some may object, it is not going to matter, it has been taken care of, that it WILL happen, dispite the people.

True it will happen and I am happy to see that the public can feel a little less sha-t-d due to the compromise. small but better. bears repeating... ..................................... ...Anyone who can see the situation we live in currently and not be a prepper is not in their right mind in my estimation. |
