washing hands often with soap and water. When hands are not visibly dirty, a hand rub can be used;
adhering to good food-safety practices, such as avoiding undercooked meat or food prepared under unsanitary conditions, and properly washing fruits and vegetables before eating them;
maintaining good personal hygiene;
avoiding unnecessary contact with farm, domestic, and wild animals.

The WHO is telling 3.4 million people heading for a dessert to wash their hands with soap and water? Really? In 2011 water was only available in Riydah every 2.5 days! In Jeddah it's available every 9 days. Avoid contact with animals? There's not much refrigeration in a dessert, at least not enough for 3.4 million people to store meat so they normally keep the animals alive until their ready to eat them!
The WHO. What a joke!
