Because of growing flawed U.S. foreign policy, China and other nations are becoming more bold in what may be seen as real attempts to expand not only their territory, but in terms of China moving its military forces to claim new areas throughout the world. As we approach the new year, the problems in these areas will continue fester and possibly end in some type of real military exchange in the regions.
This thread I started some time ago, needs a new look and more tracking. An American "spy plane" which had considerable missile armaments was sent to the region and now there is another incident. In 2016, this could lead us into war - or other allies could see an exchange of missiles or fire which could start a global conflict. Medclinician |

On Dec.22 China’s Defense Ministry accused the U.S. of committing a “serious military provocation” by flying an Air Force B-52 bomber over a Chinese-controlled island in the South China Sea. He added that China would do whatever necessary to protect the sovereignty.
According to the statement, Chinese military personnel on the island went on high alert during the Dec. 10 overflight by the B-52 strategic bomber and issued warnings demanding the bomber to leave the area.
Considering this event, tensions in the South China Sea are continuing to grow. |
