I haven't discussed this yet. The two WuFlu cases which were in Adelaide a few weeks back, were living with in 200 meters of my house. I live not far from the hotel where the two visitors were staying. They were dragged off to hospital. We had all sorts of emergency vehicles surrounding the building. At the time we didn't know what was happening. We found out the next day, as it was on the news. They put signs up around the building. The next day after that, we walked past and the signs were gone. True story.. my throat is feeling a little rough... |

A bit disconcerting, to be sure. I imagine in the time since you may have been waiting for additional news, cases, related to that. Gosh.
Curious about the signs, and why they were removed. Were they warning signs of potential contacts, or did they have to sanitize the building or something? I'm sure the health authorities are examining significant contacts and such for possible exposure, but as we've all be reading, this is extremely contagious, and I, myself, might wonder, who else may have been exposed. For example, the couple cases near me (in the county), not 200 neters away, had supposedly stayed home until they went to the clinic. But just to be cautious, all clinic workers who came into contact have been sent home for 14 days. |

The signs going missing was odd. Also weird. It was on the TV news. The very next day it was pulled from the site. |

That last bit is, to my mind, indicative of how desperate to cover this up governments are. Australia has one of the least repressive governments in the world. If things dissapear so easily there, what about the rest of the world. China, NK are not alone, every government is repressive to some extent.

I think the cover ups are to stop the world going into recession......
Counties economies could collapse...... But losing a few million people is no BIG deal......(unless it's one of your own) and can be kept quiet........fudged figures...... |

Look guys my late husband was pretty high up in government I can tell you they will hide this until they can't . Just a fact that is why us reporting what is going on is important. I now have a family at work returning from Thailand next week and I am against going to ask if they will be quarantined for at least 14 days. The China kids will be back tomorrow if not then they have the virus.

Flumom, any idea on the rest of your neighborhood? By that I mean is anyone else showing signs of getting the idea that maybe theyβre not as safe as they think they are?

No because the China family has been in self quarantine since Feb 3. And I know they have not broken quarantine from others watching.
The next family comes back on the 24th but do not know if they will make them self quarantine but going to find out tomorrow. Oh others know we may be in danger but because of confidentiality everyone is afraid to say anything. We have a lot of sickness right now at work lots of kids out. So who will be able to tell unless someone like me gets sick and I demand to get tested. Which I will do. |

Fear of market collapse. Nail on the head. This is exactly what is going on... This is my biggest fear with the WuFlu. For years i have been concerned about banks pumping liquidity into the market. Money printing etc. The markets are awash with cheap money. The GFC bubble didn't pop, it was inflated a little larger. On that point, I've notice a concerted effort by the IMF in the preceding years to encourage countries to introduce bail in laws. Its been a global effort, mostly kept very secret. Australia secretly pushed through bail in laws. Supposedly this is to protect the banks and stop another great depression. If you ask me it gives the banks an insurance policy against reckless behavior. If you don't know what I'm talking about Do a google search on Greek haircut and bail in. Is this the black swan?
