Todays numbers: https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/the-latest-numbers-of-covid-19-cases-in-canada-as-of-march-20-2020/ar-BB11sj8L?ocid=spartandhp If anyone has articles to share please do so, running behind on farm & not feeling 100% myself, so not taking time to search each province. |

I’m not sure how to respond to a thread right now, but I feel compelled to say NS authorities are responding the way they should. I personally will suffer under new restrictions, but I am happy to have then in place. |

Hi MeAgain, You did great! That's all their is to replying or posting! I think most will suffer under a lockdown - some more then others due to a huge variety of factors. Each province seems to be doing it's own thing so far, and PM has said it's not time yet for 'federal intervention' https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/politics/trudeau-says-canada-is-not-at-the-point-of-declaring-a-federal-emergency/ar-BB11wPx4?ocid=spartanntp but then you see articles like these and you kind of wonder... People still flock to mountains for weekend...https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/locals-worried-as-people-still-head-to-rocky-mountains-despite-covid-19-pandemic/ar-BB11wJsQ?ocid=spartanntp 3 in 10 think ok to gather in groups...https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/covid-19-three-in-10-canadians-still-think-its-ok-to-gather-in-groups-poll/ar-BB11wrFj?ocid=spartanntp I saw one that talked about people ignoring social distancing advice from France to (Vancouver?) but can't get eye on it now... anyway - point being, I'm not sure that until there is a fairly serious consequence that people will pay attention and follow the rules. This is an advantage that China had - when they say 'stay home' people listen as they know if caught breaking the rules it can literally be death. Here people don't have that respect (for better or worse) for authorities in them - we'll have to see how things progress on a national level. Basically if we head the provincial warnings things will stay at that level, if we continue to disregard then it will become a federal matter... Glad to have you here, don't be shy about sharing stories, articles etc! May you and your loved ones stay safe! Oh, just found it! https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/coronavirus/120483915/coronavirus-people-from-france-to-florida-flout-lockdown-practices |

'mostly' shut... still trying to bring Canadians back from overseas but at end of that according to his warning a couple/few days ago... why this is (JMO) strictly a PR move for those who can't do math... just bs, and way WAY too late to do any good at all - like I said, if he'd wanted to make Q mandatory to protect the rest of us - that should have happened LONG ago... |
