Saying a Prayer...

for the Coronavirus Task Force...

I hope they asked for wisdom from God because they are going to need it!!!

At least since Pence took over, they significantly changed the testing criteria, and expanded testing in unprecedented ways (EUA). Now, at least he has something to do (VPs aren't really constitutionally outlined very well, except as a tie-breaker in the Senate). 

It seems it took the market's bright red warning signs to wake them up from their slumber and accelerate their actions, finally.

I hope they're getting, and acting on, good advice.

Need to prepare health care facilities, and train workers is paramount. The disaster at UC-Davis with refused testing for over 4 days resulted in about 140 health care workers in isolation.  Also, need to prioritize scarce ICUs and respirators, start developing plans to delay electives, clear guidelines to the populace on what to do if respiratory symptomatic (e.g. STAY AWAY FROM THE ER, CALL AHEAD). Start public service ads across the nation on all national, cable major stations, ads on FB, etc. How to self-isolate, etc. It's started but really needs to be much more. People in local transmission areas are still believing all is ok. People need more information, like S. Korea, on where and when confirmed cases exactly were when out in public (malls, restaurants, etc). It seems that the information is being held to not induce panic, but the public has a right to know, I believe, and could lead to the discovery of more hidden cases so people might have a clue it's COVID-19 when they think it's just a bad flu, cold. etc.

I hope the medical community learned from the 140 workers in quarantine because they are not using precautions.  In a few weeks I hope I do not have to go to an ER.  I will be wearing an N95 and gloves and my jump suit if I have to go with a spare of each to leave the ER if needed.  Sorry ERs will be a hot bed of Covid19 in 2-3 months. 

Hey I bet military and FEMA were at that meeting just not when they took the photo...people would be saying Trump is going to take over and make himself King if the military had been in that photo.   They have to have military to control the mess that is coming and FEMA they have all those big multiple plastic body boxes they will have to use.  Sorry just a fact! 

I believe not only that our prayers are heard, but also in the power of prayer.  

I saw premium examples of both last summer, during a health crisis of a loved one and will never be ashamed to say so. 

Personally I pray that ALL governments of the world gain wisdom, but humans being humans, and Satan being who he is... afraid it will take massive prayers to overcome... and in our modern 'me' world - I'm not sure that will ever happen.

Here in northern va our local hospital has started to set up trailers and double wides outside in parking lot. There has also been a steady stream daily of a truck marked disaster relief coming and going. Odd don’t you think

Might be a local DMAT team deploying to your area. I have a relative that runs a DMAT program, they've been working around the clock for 6 weeks getting prepared. They often use military assets to help with their mobilizations.
