   Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said Monday he will sign a decree that extends the lock down of the Lombardy region to the entire country as Italy’s COVID-19 death toll continues to rise.
People throughout the country should not leave their homes other than for work and emergencies, Conte said. He added that all public gatherings will be banned and sporting events suspended.

	It's unbelievable that a whole European country is in lock down. Most particularly Italy. I don't know if any of you have been there but the Italians are not known for their ability to respect and abide by laws. They're not as bad as the Greeks, but they're close. It's certainly not China. Italy does not have a compliant population. I have no idea how they think they will make this work but good luck to them.
