Pandemics usually hit humanity with 3 waves and the third wave is the worst.


This is just the first wave.


This will get a lot worse.

That's pure speculation and supposition at this point, not based in fact.  If we were experiencing a influenza pandemic that would hold true historically. This is not a influenza pandemic, this is a coronavirus pandemic. And from a MERS/ SARS coronavirus historical standpoint that did not happen. Time will tell.

Maybe this IS the third wave.

Actually, its usually the 2nd wave that is worse.  Its mild then mutates and ends up killing more so then it evolves again to a less lethal variant so then it fizzles out.
