New York Cases have doubled in one day.  Yesterday morning there were 923 cases.  Today (so far) there are 1871.

Wait for it... Cuomo's daily presser announced that as of right now.. there are 2382 cases in New York.  The vast majority of those are in NYC.  I understand the increase is largely in part to catching up to and being up to speed on testing, but it's still scary!

I should add that Cuomo has also ordered a further reduction of in-office work force for private businesses to no more than 25%.  Essential services including food and pharmacy are exempt.  

He spent a lot of time explaining why people should stay home. Short of ordering a lock-down, it's the only thing he can do.

Army Corps of Engineers are here evaluating existing buildings that can be retro-fitted as hospitals.

And of course... the efforts being made to procure more ventilators. We have 5500. Our need will be approximately 30,000.

Mortgage waiver/assistance for 90 days. Depending on financial need mortgage fees will be reduced or waived "on the back end of this".

Credit card and ATM fees waved for 90 days.
