Is this what we have become? A cold hearted nation only concerned with money? Are you all willing to write off friends and family because they are dispensable so you can get a paycheck? Am I to keep my 92 yr old father in isolation for months and wave through a window to him, because out president cares more about the stock market? You can see the red state governors prostate themselves to this man who cares little for the populace. He shows no fear of this virus, himself and his family if ill would have the best healthcare to pull them throughThe surgeon general yesterday the sky is falling!!! Today Dr Birx hemming and hawing,we have to look at the data.Reading the posts this morning many seem to be wavering, giving trump the benefit of the doubt,"he is doing the best he can" SAD! |

I'm afraid we are all going to learn some sad truths as this pandemic becomes entrenched. I'm seeing awful scenarios unfold in UK and I suggest that theres going to be further ugliness. Its important to be vigilant and observe but not get sucked into this unfolding situation. Most of us are prepared I believe in mind and body and lets hope we emerge with damage limitation..Take care♥♥ |

Money is king sad to say but it will win out in the U.S. That is why I am prepped to stay in my house for a year or more if I had to. As a senior I am ready to let the young people get back to a normal life BUT it will not be normal like they think a bunch of them will die and they will be in shock! They will say someone should have told us WE could die! OH, WELL! |

I concur. Let them get on with it. Im holed up in England for as long as needed. Young people will die too and economies still hit hard by large infection rates. Older people will not spend like they have done. Theres no quick fix here is there ?. We still dont know how and when an effective vaccine maybe developed or if reinfection is possible. Im not sure airlines can recover to the old way of doing things. This is a wake up call. People may want to focus on economics. I have the RIGHT to stay alive !. |

This is going to be around for a long time at least until they get a vaccine. I think schools will stay shut down until next fall, restaurants will go to 50% of people in them at one time, businesses that have a lot of desk people will go to shifts of some sort so only 50% of workers are there at a time, manufacturers same thing. It can be done and yes we will have more deaths but maybe they would have died anyway. We will be this way until August and schools will be in again and most of us will be back at work. WE really need to be SIP in all the states NOW to slow the needs on hospitals and gradually get back to some work by mid April. People like me that are old or have a problems need to remain home SIP until August and then reassess. PPE's used in Old Folks homes to protect the old. We can get our act together in the next weeks to get all of the accomplished. |
