Well that would fit in a lot of ways - that this all started before we even realized it.  Someone said 10,000/day flying from China to all over the world - why couldn't one of the earlier cases there (even asymptomatic) not have traveled extensively (with or without ill intent even?)? 

Most exponential graphs go long/flat quite a while before the hockey stick effect - so this lengthening of base makes sense (if I'm looking at this right - no guarantees!) and a longer/bigger base of infected may help explain the stratospheric climb they've had????

And if the study that was posted on Iceland is correct and 50% of Icelandics (Icelanders?) show  antibodies - then this has been around more then a month or two there...  

Just musing out loud here - no idea if any correctness or completely off base

Whatever the cause, whenever it started - it's ugly...

The above article is very worthy of a read and discussion.  It always amazes me how much people will pay for a label - supposedly indicating (in this case) quality Italian workmanship, possibly implied by hand... yeah the hands of slave labour Chinese!  It's sad what people are willing to do to each other for a buck!
