The Vermont government has now made any purchases of anything other than "essential" items ILLEGAL. what' s not essential? They decide!

(all in the name of public safety of course!!)

Stay away from sites like Zerocred. We received our order from the supplier mentioned in that propaganda piece. They simply stopped taking homeowner orders for a couple of weeks so they could better serve their commercial customers. Seeds are available everywhere....

There is nothing in it for them to keep things this way indefinitely. They want our economy to work.  The ONLY thing that these measures are good for is flattening the curve.  Public health is a snoozefest when it works.  Thank God it is possibly working.  Whether it is a blood disease or not, it is still acquired by the respiratory route.  All of the transmissibility data we have still make the measures necessary until we have enough medicine and healthcare workers to take care of everyone who gets sick.  That is all I have to say about that.

This is an interesting view... starve the beast?

"You go on back to work like a good mule. The fat cats need you out there pulling their plows for them. I'll continue to lay low and avoid the system at every opportunity. People with your mindset are the reason why we're in the mess we are in. If everyone told the bastards to screw themselves, and went to an absolutely minimalist lifestyle, the fat cat bastards would starve to death. But you go ahead and keep their wheels turning for them. Make sure you wear a mask, wash your hands, and keep your distance, and the 1% will make sure to sterilize all that money you so kindly continue to provide them with."

I suppose if you weren't being served by a system it wouldn't make sense to continue to support it. FBut an economic "reset" historically, has, many times lead to tyranny, extreme discolcation, and tears for the masses.

I don't know... I have a friend in Vermont who has completely planned out  a 10  bail hay bail garden.  She started day before yesterday and has had no problem obtaining seeds, seed starts, etc.   I'll add that my brother in northern RI is having no problem finding seeds or starts for his garden which, in total, is in the area of  20' x 40' .  I will add that he runs across the border to MA to get his supplies and hasn't been stopped from doing so.

I couldn't agree more. On some of the prepper pages i peruse once in awhile and other facebook pages...it seems like there are folks just wanting to lock and load and shoot, chomping at the bit over any "loss of freeedom"...honestly I can go wherever I want, stay in a forest all night, drive all over my state and cross state lines into DC even,  go into 20 grocery stores and more in a day, go to Home Depot and Lowes and spend all day there if I want, fill up my car with gas, drive to my parents home and spend the night then drive back, walk around without a mask on or gloves....order whatever I want from the internet, even furniture and clothes, go into gun stores in my state and buy guns and ammo, buy food from restaurants, run around my neighborhood or the local park , attend drive in churches (yep, we have those here now)...and many more stupid things....forgot to add...go to any booze store in my state and buy as much booze as I want and even get wine and beer delivered to my door....
