Congratulations!  I wish I could say I'm happy for you, but... I'm not so happy you HAD to certify because of the virus... hope that makes sense.

Thanks, WM!  I've worked in public health since 1979 and was one of the first to make the connection between HIV AIDS virus and male sex practices (based upon Hepatitis B). 

Our posters know I've been griping about another corona-virus outbreak since SARS, and many of us thought MERS would be the one.  SARS-CoV2 threw us off, MERS might yet break out, or another flavor.  Damn bats! 

I'm constantly scanning the channels and posting what I am allowed to post.  Be safe, wash your hands, wear your masks and we'll see you when this virus burns itself out.

So you were one of the proverbial "And the Band Played On"!  That's impressive!

No matter what this turns out to be, I have often said it's a hell of a dry run for "the big one". I know I'm learning lots and plan to be fully prepared to completely SIP when it hits. Note I say when and not if! Hopefully by then the plans being made within my family will find me in a cottage or tiny house on a small farm in the northeast with other family members. Because although I'm good here in my corner of NYC for this, I'm not so sure I'd be okay when the big one hits.

NY and NYC numbers seemed to have flattened out and some indications those numbers are dropping steeply.  But we won't know if this is the apex until next week.  I'm still taking every precaution on the very rare occasion I make a move out of my home.  I know you are too!  Stay safe and healthy, CRS!
