From a frontliner-

"Anyone seeing influenza this early?

Thankfully covid is trending down in Imperial County, CA. A second wave down the line is anticipated. There is some concern about influenza arriving at the same time when covid antibodies are gone from this wave. Hoping that co-infection won't change outcomes that much but it will def increase patient visits and make differentials a bit more muddy.

Just heard there is some low numbers but confirmed influenza a/b cases in Lassen Country this past week. I honestly haven't screened for influenza. Anyone else seeing it or screening for it?"
