Pandemic Alert Level =6

   DJ-Since variants of Covid19 are spreading all over the globe-vaccines may only buy us limited time the Pandemic Alert Level is at 6.
A Pandemic Alert Level does NEVER reflect local, regional, or national situations by definition. 
Putting the Pandemic Alert Level now at 1 (as this forum seems to be doing...) is "at best" incorrect...

	It was; it even made it up to 6 for a while. I think the system may have a glitch. I can't see Albert downgrading it to a 1 anytime soon - at least not deliberately.

	I did not know there was a "system" behind it....(Believed a person made a choice on it). I was thinking of a (monthly/weekly) poll-how do (active/passive) users of this forum see it... On the other hand-in "scenario's" I try to find scientific basis for a claim of where we are in this pandemic...Nobody should "vote for a pandemic"-a pandemic is not the outcome of a democratic process-more a description of a global disaster...

	I believe Albert upgraded it deliberately and downgraded it again - slightly. Suddenly finding it back to 1 just seems out of character. This pandemic is far from over.

	I think that is a glitch in the system (we are in the middle of a pandemic). However, it could be. as Carbon stated, an alert for a NEW pandemic (in which he description needs to be changed to "Emerging Pandemic Alert Level". It this was the case then level 1 seems to be approriate.
