This was on the news here last week. NZ sent over 6 empty jumbo jets to bring Kiwis home. Honestly I think they were stupid to risk going to Australia. They knew the risks. I'm sick and tired of them all whingeing about being stuck there. There's nothing that would make me leave NZ at the moment. I support Jacinda's decision to stop the trans tasman bubble. It's too risky. Australia keeps getting little flare ups of virus, and now one has taken hold and is spreading fast. I have a sister in NSW with her family, but still don't feel the need to go and see her. There's always zoom and face time if the phone isn't good enough. |
