That's not strictly true about pandemics. Spanish flu disappeared after three years. Likely because it mutated into something that wasn't as infectious and deadly. But I don't believe Covid is going to do that. I've read that we've already surpassed deaths with Covid than we had in the U.S. from Spanish Flu. I'm deeply concerned about this AY variant and have decided not to travel down to my sister's for Christmas. Although my brother is making noises about picking me up for Thanksgiving at my niece's to celebrate her new house. |
