"Ireland has not reached peak by any stretch" (anywhere near it) the head of HSE says. Reid says "Ireland is coming out of delta wave and heading into Omicron wave."

"Coming out of delta wave we were 6000 hospital staff down with covid related sickness"  The HSE boss also said "no doubt now the virus is absolutely running rife in our communities" (running rife saying means it's out of control)

* many people throughout Ireland has been unable to get tests for days. The advice is to isolate if you have any symptoms.
