Where are all the hollywood types?

   Where are the cause celebs that are so brilliantly filled with sage advice? Why aren't they speaking out against pandemic flu? 
What Catholic church, Episcopal, Methodist, Presbyterian, Church of England, Orthodoxy types should be tuned into the Holy Spirit is speaking out? what famous pastor, preacher, biblical scholar, historian? What mental health "expert" like Dr. Phil is understanding this and stepping up to the plate to sound the alarm? What soldier, vet, lawyer or cop is understanding this and shouting out about it? No rappers, or rock stars, no wiccans, nothing. No students, just the few here on the web who are so enlightened. Doesn't it make you take a deep breath, a pause, to wonder why this is so? 

What commonality is there between us? 
What is the benefit to use knowing this ahead of the others? 
What does this ensure, if anything?

Too many hardhearted souls around.

	I guess I am not really talking about one or two celebs or honest politicians etc. Certainly there must be more awareness "out there" than this?

	people are aware, they are just not worried. they have the mentality that there is nothing they can do about it , so why worry. its the same feeling people have over a terrorist attack, global warming,or even getting hit by a car, - it will never happen to me, and if it does, thats life

	No..It's not "they have the mentality that there is nothing they can do about it" is really not true...there are OTHER things in life that are more pressing. It is a matter of perspective. When you reach 100,000 deaths per YEAR, as alcohol does, then we can talk...and that is just a SMALL sample of the ills that abound.

	If you could convince the average person that pandemic would be at their front door step exactly 30 days from today, that person would likely wait until day 29, then head to Wal-Mart to buy a flashlight, batteries, and a few bottles of drinking water. Now, tell the same person that we may have a pandemic within the next 6 months to 3 years, or perhaps not even at all. How can they possibly calculate what the "last possible time" to begin preparing is? We are just a whole different breed of cat, I guess.

	When the Hollywood types tell me it is true, I know it must be wrong. They are mainly high school dropouts with good looks, and the ability to pretend. Neither attribute qualifies them to form a cognitive thought.
