More bird flu in Israel
Bird flu was discovered Friday in a kibbutz near the Israeli-Egyptian border.

The government quarantined Kibbutz Kerem Shalom and parts of the surrounding area, and will begin culling some 20,000 turkeys there, Ha’aretz reported. The discovery comes two weeks after the deadly H5N1 strain of the virus was first found in Israel, and brings the number of Israeli communities infected to eight.
