OK
I may be just paranoid and reading to much into things, but I found the following interesting. China View website: reporting on the mans death from BF. "The man was a market vendor who admitted that his work place was located near poultry shops. There is a poultry farming in his neighborhood too," he said. VOA (Voice of America) website & Forbes Website reported the following. VOA - health official says a chicken seller suspected of being infected with bird flu has died at Jakarta's infectious diseases hospital. Forbes - A 22-year-old Indonesian chicken seller infected with the bird flu virus has died, a hospital official said. Now the descrepancy is that the Asian news reports that the man just worked near those who sold poultry, where all the Western press are reporting that the man himself was a "chicken seller". Could it be that the western press wants people to continue to believe that you have to eat with, sleep with, and personally kill infected birds to get infected. If such casual contact can pass the virus then the virus has greatly improved its ability to infect a human host. This is a critical step on the way to a pandemic. Alright - am I just being paranoid??? |
