I find this very odd that there are no new suspected cases being reported in Turkey or Asia. Can there really be zero suspected cases? If there were no new suspected cases, we would know about it. The Turkey officials would be very quick to let us know that, as would the WHO. No news is bad news. It's common sense that if they had anything promising to say regarding no new human infections, then they would be quick to say it. We haven't heard anything from the ole "Epidemic Frontline" in over a week now, as Rodier with the WHO called it. Believe me. The "epidemic" didn't go anywhere and I'm sure it's significantly worse. The WHO is basically useless at this point. Edited by Albert |

I would say that TPTB are sitting on top of all the info at this point. Which is like sitting on top of a pressure cooker with no valve release. This thing's going to blow and then there will be no way to hide it. But then you get to watch everyone scramble around like key-stone cops at that point! Meewee |

If there' s news we get scared ....but if there's NO news we get even more scared.......that kind of thinking is a very slippery slope indeed. At least we should consider the possibility that when there are no new reports it just means ........that there's nothing to report ! |

Im going to be optomistic and think that new cases really are down.
Maybe people in Turkey finally got the hint NO to slaughter chickens on
the kitchen table, and NOT to let your small kids play pass the severed
chicken head. I saw on the CNN ticker last night that officials
in Turkey said they are getting a better handle on the virus, but they
said that as long as h5N1 is showing up , it's still a threat.
