Hello all! Just saying Hello! We have been in Kenya for over 1 1/2 months now. We have decided to stay another 2 months. Life is very different here. I have seen the best and the worst. I have danced in the rains of Africa. They decided to call me the Taita Mzungu in the hometown of my family. Mzungu means white person and Taita is an area in the hills of Kenya. We are having a great time! I try to keep up somewhat with the news. Honestly, most here don't really wory about what is going on in the rest of the world. Have a good day! I will check in, but I have no idea how often. Life is a little more expensive than I expected but still a great deal cheaper than the US.

Hi Mary, Still in Kenya. I have been watching the Euro collapse in my free time. Looks like UK is next on the news as a govt in deep trouble financially. In the end most countries will fall into this category. I will probably wait to post the pictures until we get home in late july. We have found a business that we plan to start in December here and we are getting closer to getting some rentals. I have been working diligently on my plan to get myself independant of the dollar as much as possible. The future will tell if the decision was a good one. I still love it here and I am having a good time. I pray all is well for all of you.

hi there...   Will look forward to the photos... I've heard that flicker is a good spot to load photos.

They say the dollar will be strong as Europe recovers over the next few years.  The Canadian

Dollar should be fine too.     You should do well... China is also in Africa  : )     have fun..
