She doesn't want to kiss a** for anyone. No one is in favor of doing such a thing, but sometimes they only understand harsh words or threats.

From the mouth of a neo-Con. Out of the two Democratic candidates, Hillary would be the one who would most likely have the courage and resolve it would take to use nukes against any country. Obama has made it clear he wants to get rid of EVERY nuke in the U.S. arsenal...leaving us open to nuclear attack from countries with long-range nuke capabilities.
Hillary is not the far-left liberal you think she is.

If I were the despotic leader of a nation, I would be very afraid of the thought of Hillary suffering a hot flash while carrying the nuclear football.
I am no fan of hers, but she is very adept at being ruthless. Personally I can see her giving the command to fire before McCain.
If Obama ends up president we deserve to be attacked by nukes. I assume the targeted cities will be the ones teaming with the leftists.

When has a politician ever done what they said they will do while campaigning? If what it takes (to get your vote) is to tell you the sun will come up in the west after they are elected, you can bet your bottom dollar, you'll hear that.

YOU ARE CORRECT! Do you hear Hillary promise us all Heath Care For All, her husband Bill promised us the same thing when he ran. LaRo is right politicians will promise anything to get elected. At least McCain has not promised us Heath Care that all three candidates can never provide. CONGRESS MUST GIVE US HEALTH CARE a President only proposes a budget. Do all of you have Heath Care, my family pays 900.00 a month for basic coverage. If anything bad happens we are in debt up to our ears. Hillary and Obama bin Laden just want to get elected, screw the people after they get in! |

Republicans say "Screw the littlle people!"
Democrats say "Screw the little people...but feel their pain!"
I don't see any candidate saying or doing anything to even begin to fix what is going wrong right now. As was said above...they will say anything they can to get elected and anything to get re-elected. I mean all parties.

Wow, there are some really anti-government people in this forum. Any of you have a compound in Waco? I suppose every one of you have the answers to resolve the world's problems, and are doing something about it instead of simply spouting sexist, racist BS to anyone that will agree with you. I, for one, am sick of it and I truly believe this is the best country to live in. So, live with it, try to be a part of the solution, or move to another country.

Susan, take it easy, the one thing that makes this country the greatest in the world is we are able to express our thoughts, it doesn't matter if they are politically correct or not. I think it's called "Freedom of Speach". one of our most prized possessions.

SusanT, you must have forgotten that this country was formed around a constitution 225 years ago specifically to limit the powers of the government. If you are in favor of government healthcare, federal minimum wage rules, a federal dept. of education, etc, etc. you do not share the beliefs of the founders.
We "anti-government" people shouldn't have to move to a different country - the govenment should have to move away from us.

Bullcrap! If the conservatives in this country had gotten off their lazy, incompetent butts...we wouldn't have to be screaming for health care, minimum wages or govt. run education.
This nation has been screwed over by the powers that be for so long now, our nations' very foundation is crumbling...I don't think one can have limited government with a nation as populous as ours. Sure, it needs to be as trim as possible, but the govt. must step in when the conservatives in control start slashing and burning the national budget.
I agree with SusanT -- this is a great nation, and its' people deserve better than what they are getting right now. Times change, society changes...and the majority WANT govt. subsidized health care for the millions of people without it; the majority NEED minimum wage guarantees and increases to keep up with inflation and employer's hesitancy to provide a proper living wage to it's employees; the majority DEMAND quality public education for their kids, as they watch the schools crumble from proper funding and support.

"...the govenment should have to move away from us." ??? Renegade, Come on now. It is bad enough that you had to throw out a comment about "hot flashes" to make it known that you're sexist, and about Obama, so it implies you're a racist as well, but really, the government moving away from us? What exactly does that mean?
As for your comment: "this country was formed around a constitution 225 years ago specifically to limit the powers of the government. If you are in favor of government healthcare, federal minimum wage rules, a federal dept. of education, etc, etc. you do not share the beliefs of the founders." How do you know what the founders would think now? The founders wrote the constitution to govern BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE and designed a balance of power so that no one branch would have sole discretion. Things have changed in 232 years. Our needs as a country have evolved, and government has evolved with it. THE PEOPLE are crying out for the government to take control of healthcare, and have been for years. It has been run privately, and look how great that has worked! As for government regulated minimum wage, perhaps you'd prefer we had sweatshops where people can not even meet basic necessities off of a full time salary? By the way LaRo, I completely agree with you on Free Speech...it's great isn't it? |
