I use instacartexpress.  I used it all winter, actually.  It was lovely before all the shortages and extended delivery times.  I used to send in my order and have my groceries within a couple of hours.  Now, I send it in and get it delivered in the evening.

It is more difficult to communicate with my shopper in real time now, because I do not keep my phone in my hand all the time.  I don't know exactly when they will start shopping.  If something is out of stock, they will try to communicate with you about replacements.  At this point i don't expect to get exactly what I ordered anymore.  If I get 2% milk instead of whole, I'm just glad if I got milk.  ;-)

If you are more available to communicate than I have been lately, it is still very much worth it.

I've used it, even recently. Reserving a time slot can be challenging. I suggest increasing the tip a bit so that shoppers don't cancel you in favor of a more lucrative trip (which I figured out after the third cancellation in an hour)

A neighbor uses it.  He says getting a delivery slot is a problem.  But when he gets one, he's very happy with the service.  He said if you want the shopper will call and tell him if there are items not instock and what a substitute might be.  Then they deliver it to his door.

I've been using it.  Delivery slots, if you can get one, run 5-7 days out from order date.  Inventory at the store is limited.  Many item cancellations and substitutions in my area.
