"...He was the uncle of a 14-year-old girl, who also died flu-like symptoms, but who subsequent tests established did not have the H5N1 virus...."

The uncle of the 14 year old Iraqi girl died.  So now I don't think they can hide  the fact Iraq "has bird flu"!

OK..Its NOT H5N1..could it be the mutated H2H version..there have been alot of unexplained deaths...maybe they are holding out..if they say it is not H5N1..their butts are covered..cause it could be a mutated version and there is a big cover up..until they can get their ditheres together

Here are a couple post from the link above from the discussion group about IraQ

As a doctor working in iraq , we don't have any test or measure available here to say that a patient is having or has died of bird-flu , talking of bird-flu in iraq comes only when you try to tell a joke or when someone tries to frighten you ..
Bird-flu patient may present as any patient of chest infection , which will eventually end with respiratory failure and the patient will die . By that time we will say that the patient died of "pneumonia" as such . because if you tell the family that their relative died of bird-flu will put you in endless tunnel , while you may be wrong.. By the way , i haven't face any case suspected , but this may pass unnoticed and i'm sure no one will diagnose and no one will care ..
Anyway , kola mot , bird-flu wala mofa5a5a wala i3'tiyal , kola mot ..

Bird flu has almost definetly spread in Iraqi Kurdistan, there are numerous rumours about whole farms dying off, but the government keeps on reporting that nothing out of the ordinary has occured, i've been told that its present in Iran as well. If europe cant keep it in check what hope is their for the middle east.

Corn,
I've read your post where you state that "whole farms" are dying off. Do you mean the poultry on the farms, or the people living there as well?

It's very scary that there is so much cover up going on .

Where is Geraldo Rivera?????  He loves to dig into a good cover-up story.  Wonder how we can, as a group and wonderful team as we are, can somehow get in touch with him.   ALBERT.....you live in CA , would you know where we can call or write to him?
