Rabid fox found in Llano County

The Llano County Sheriff's Office says a rabid fox was found last month.

The fox was found on November 21st in the 500 block of Harris Loop in Kingsland.

It was tested by the Department of State Health Services and found to be positive for rabies.

If you think you or someone else may have come into contact with this fox, you are asked to call the Llano Co. Sheriff's Office at 325-247-5767 or the Texas Department of State Health Services Zoonosis Control at 254-778-6744.
