I have personally bought some masks from a lady in our town that is making them. I WILL be wearing mine anytime I go out in public...

Simple DIY masks could help flatten the curve. We should all wear them in public.

Thank you, I agree that this is a good idea.   We have to conserve the high-quality PPE for HCW and 1st Responders, but wearing a DIY mask in public is a good idea to reduce aerosols and droplet nuclei.   However, such masks will do little to protect the wearer from new infection.

The last chart illustrates the saying  "Keep 6ft away, or you'll be 6ft under".

Exactly! 

I've done hospital infection control in a major hospital that did heart/lung transplants, where the recipient had NO immune system at all.  Our sterile technique had to be perfect.  

Some idiot freaking doctor wanted to install a big, glitzy waterfall/fountain in the hospital lobby....this thing would have been a big disease generator (Legionnaire's Disease, etc.) so I had to step in to quash it.
