Honestly no freezers to be had and if you click on Argos it tells you shit like 11229 people have viewed this product in the last 24hrs. Even the expensive ones at over £1500 are all gone. Freezers are the new loo rolls. This place is getting scary. Hz x |

Had a friend call this afternoon their freezer was going out and they wanted to know if I had any room in my freezers. LOL, NO I have them chock full. So they were taking all their stuff to their daughters who had room. They are getting a freezer next Tuesday. We have freezers just not real fast on delivery. |

I saw that here they've put a limit on buying frozen food in the supermarkets. Perhaps there's a shortage of freezers here too. They've also put a limit on chicken breasts - perhaps people were buying them to freeze them. I tried to buy some on Monday but they were sold out. I bought thighs instead. |

Those who got it wrong, for whatever reason, may feel defensive and retrench into a position that doesn’t accord with the facts.

At least freezers make sense, and kind of says that people are looking at the long term picture too. Some maybe just thinking 'grab everything we can now and freeze it' but some will be looking at blanching/freezing veggies, being able to buy larger packs of meat to break down etc. This purchase makes sense to me, wish I could afford another! |

I saw similar news from the UK about a week ago....just at the time our fridge was on the blink. Its replacement arrived a week ago today, in time to stock up of supplies that could last months (cheese, salami etc). That was Just In Time for us. |
