World 'at crossroads' in swine flu crisisDow Jones Newswires May 18, 2009 THE swine influenza virus could fizzle out, trigger a "mild" pandemic still capable of claiming many lives or become a historic killer, a major medical conference has been told. Renowned European virologist Albert Osterhaus urged watchdogs to keep up their guard, even if the new strain of H1N1 virus had turned out to be less worrisome than thought a few weeks ago. |

Either way you slice it, the pandemic will most likely kill 4 x more than the regular flu as a lot more people will get it. We have a somewhat bumpy ride heading our way.

Albert,
Pandemic coming sooner than we think and it will not be pretty in the fall. So, in order to prepare ourselves for the coming crisis, we plan on doing two things. The first is to develop a alternative site that is going to serve as a place to stay during the pandemic. Two is the purchase of a second vehicle to serve as a getaway vehicle.... Just got 300 rounds of 12 gauge ammo to go with the Mossburg shotgun. Think of protecting yourself and others you love... prep as if your life depends on it. because it does.... |

I was writing a mega rant. Bottom line is don't count on them to help you. We must learn to help ourselves. We are not at a crossroads, we are on a highway- and that highway leads to a series of Pandemics. Put on your rain gear, store food and water, and get ready for the storm.
