Whew, it has been a wild 24 hours, but we are going to be ready.  Got some more meds and stuff.  We are plannog on at least one month, if not more of isolation.  We have three layers of food provisons. First is the everyday food that we normally buy.  Just got back from the meat shop, found 85 % ground beef for 3.50 a pound.  got 20 pounds of it. Next, went to walmart, got frozen veggies.  we got about every kind of frozen and canned veggie and fruit we could find. We also got more meds. Got bread and crackers and more rice.  Second layer is the stuff from Sam's we got enough to last another month.  Plenty of water and canned goods here.  20 cans of chicken, 8 cans of spam and 12 cans of tuna.  We got 6 cans of chunky soup as well as 24 cans of various pasta and noodle food.  We had to get canned pop, yes I know it is an item that is of little value to others but it makes a great mix with rum...  Got gatorade and two kinds of juice. We have enough for at lleast a month of preps with this stuff. Third is the last line, freeze dried  food.  we have a bunch of this stuff.  it will last us at least 2 months.     So, there you go.  Layered food  preps...

what do you think  ?   Got TP before the rush in  january.  Opinions welcome

Pasta + soup = emergency meal.  Add veg + meat = ballanced emergency meal.  Diet could be low in calcium and vit D.  Add suppliament is easiest fix.

Flashlights, batteries, candles, heat 4 powercuts?  Pet food?

I think you covered everything else.

I concur with Technophobe.  Only other thing I'd add is some new hobbycrafts, puzzles, books, etc.

Good luck! I hope you find you over-prepped!

Probably have all this covered: WATER or water storage containers. Staples like salt, sugar, tea, coffee, flour, oil. Grab a big bag of potatoes and apples. Good for a long time. Dry cereals like shredded wheat are good for “chewing” and easy, filling snack, also popcorn kernels, add to chewing and filling. Also, tortillas freeze well, portions easy and versatile! Good job!

Bag of onions too...those will last awhile and a bag of sweet potatoes which are super healthy, those will last too.  Big bag of rice if you haven't already. Boxes of tissues (which can also be used as tp if necessary) and of course your laundry supplies for 2 mos.  Zinc lozenges if you can find them...take if you start feeling like you are getting a cold.
Paper towels, paper plates, plastic utensils, a sheaf of plastic cups...just in case, always good to have anyways. I mean, even your dishwasher could break down (not likely to be a power cut though)

We have shelf milk and powdered milk, We are in the process of getting more vitamins etc.  Got batteries and three flashlights.  One item that we do need will be rum.  I do have a 5th of rum, but will make another run to Sam's for one last dash.  got cheese and yogurt also.  We are going to be ok.  Your ideas are great. Keep up the advice,  Got  a boat load of model kits to build. Plenty of games etc.  One thing you may want to get is a deck for playing cards.  We have six packs of playing cards and lots of board games, books , coloring books and one of my favorites, finger  Bowling.  Did everyone get an emergency radio. We got 4.  All shortwave bands them.  We got them when Radio shack shut down.   got my guns oiled and ready to go.   We did well on ammo and guns.

Thank you one and all for the help, will be glad to help others.

We are all in this as a group, good luck.
