Pandemic Alert Level at 5 ????

   Why ??? Why not at 6 ? 
DJ-We are still in the middle of a pandemic-with lots of variants-this crisis is far from under control ! 
So why the Pandemic Alert Level (PAL) is at 5 ? What does it take to get to 6 ? What does it mean ? Is there a link to a studygroup ? WHO ? [url]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandemic#Stages[/url] or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandemic#Stages see also ;

One could claim Covid 19 is worse then flu but not as bad as Ebola...on the other hand Covid19 is very widespread and has been for over a year by now...Phase 6 in the WHO terms is "Pandemic in progress" Phase 5 is "high probability" ...
So whit all respect why this site AFT has the level on 5 not 6 ? (And who decides on that-just asking...)
