This is a very interesting article from America about the risks, mid flight, that pilots face if they are vaccinated. I read the affidavit a few days ago but now it's been picked up by the press. This certainly supports reports that British Airways have had 4 pilots die mid flight since receiving the jab. All I can say is thank heavens there are two pilots on each flight. You never know when you might need the other one. https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2021/sep/28/senior-army-flight-surgeon-warns-pilots-could-die-/ |

Those who got it wrong, for whatever reason, may feel defensive and retrench into a position that doesn’t accord with the facts.

In carpentry they say,”measure twice, cut once.” With data,”think twice, calculate once. This story is pure conspiracy crap, don’t you even double check the stuff you post? It took two seconds to disprove. British Airways Pilot Loses Battle With Covid-19 After 243 Days in Hospital Unsubstantiated Claims Follow Deaths of British and Indian Airline Pilots But it’s not true that all the British pilots died in the same week, and there is no evidence the pilots died after getting the COVID-19 vaccine. In response to the claims, British Airways tweeted on June 17: “Sadly four members of our pilot community passed away recently. Our thoughts are with their family and friends. However, there is no truth whatsoever in the claims on social media speculating that the four deaths are linked.” Claims that British Airways is in “crisis talks” with the British government due to the deaths of three pilots who received COVID-19 shots are unfounded, a company representative and British medicines regulator spokesperson has told Reuters. British Airways says pilot deaths are unrelated When asked about the claim, British Airways directed USA TODAY to a statement the company shared on Twitter. “Sadly four members of our pilot community passed away recently. Our thoughts are with their family and friends. However, there is no truth whatsoever in the claims on social media speculating that the four deaths are linked,” British Airways wrote in a June 17 tweet. |

But it doesn't disprove the main part of the post about the affidavit to stop Covid vaccinated pilots flying does it? And a quote from Twitter hardly makes it fact. |

An affidavit doesn't mean anything either. It's simply a statement that the affiant says is true. It also doesn't constitute an order from the court. It can be submitted, but generally speaking, courts consider any affidavit like this as hearsay unless backed up with more substantive evidence and the witnesses testify before the court. Since it has been established that myocarditis onset of symptoms has been 1 to 5 days after injection, it's easy enough to ground a pilot for a week after injection. I imagine the court found the plaintiff's claims frivolous. Got to follow the established and evolving science and not the fear and conspiracy on this one. |
