If we are wise, let us prepare for the worst. -- President George Washington (1732-1799)       Wow, the first president is still giving us advice.

If I may hijack this thread for a moment in another direction, there is actually quite a bit going on with the presidential debates.   I'm personally starting to lean toward Mike Huckabee, although I'm not a Republican.  I like his new ideas for "change" in eliminating the IRS and most taxes altogether.  I also wouldn't even mind Hillary Clinton because she also brings change to the table, with regard to healthcare.   You can't improve without changing, and trying new ways.

coleyounger wouldn't approve of female mind in power as president especially in this time in history , it would be the first ever for the usa changing its past culture; that is already in decline like the roman empire and making her president, would just speed up the fall.

as you can see hillary has the lots of corporate  backing with money as other top for runners for president, so we are on the same path as the romans where
the elite corporations want her in power for there gain only, not for the usa but for china for mexico for any country they can make money off of, a
hillary is a globalist like bill clinton like bush Sr and jr. was, corporations love globalist.

Reasons for the fall of the Roman Empire
the practice began of selling the throne to the highest bidder. During the next 100 years, Rome had 37 different emperors - 25 of whom were removed from office by assassination. This contributed to the overall weaknesses of the empire.

Do I detect a sexist? Let's not go down that road, it is offensive to any and all female members of this forum. If you have a case against Hillary, make it on merit. D

clintons can care less about the usa

I believe that NAFTA will create 200,000 American jobs in
the first two years of its effect. I believe if you look at the
trends -- and President Bush and I were talking about it this morning
-- starting about the time he was elected president, over one-third of
our economic growth, and in some years over one-half of our net new
jobs came directly from exports. And on average, those export-related
jobs paid much higher than jobs that had no connection to exports.

I believe that NAFTA will create a million jobs in the
first five years of its impact. And I believe that that is many more
jobs than will be lost, as inevitably some will be as always happens
when you open up the mix to a new range of competition.

NAFTA will generate these jobs by fostering an export
boom to Mexico;

Well i  am a firm believer that when all the mud slinging and name calling is over, we'll be with a president that has a different outlook on how to do things then ever before.  welcome aboard Hillery.
