<p>   I don't see why anyone should share, or even read, my opinion.  But here it is anyway.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Of course Trump would say that, and it is true in part. The Democrats are going to pick holes in his policies, because they want rid of him.  They do not need another reason.  He is going to blame them for everything  (Why not?)  he wants to stay in power for another term.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             He never should have been impeached.  I am certain he was guilty.  But he had good reason and was never going to be removed from office for it.  What a waste of time, money AND MOST IMPORTANTLY PUBLIC TRUST!  The Democrats made a right mess of that.                                                                                                                                                                                                                               He is a blaimer of others and this time the buck stops with him.  For once he is in the power-throne.  Anything the Democrats did that was wrong, he should have undone.  No excuses!  He accepted no excuses when Democrats got it wrong and is delighted to accuse them of everything.  Now it's his turn.  What happens now is his honor or fault.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Both sides are horribly guilty.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           The Health system in America is a disgrace.  Sorry folks, it's the truth!  You are not a civilized country.  Civilied countries save their sick, not kill their criminals (and often innocent too).  Individual Americans are wonderful people, salt of the bl**dy Earth.  Your country however is not.                                                                                                                                                                                                                         The CDC needs money, direction and leadership.  They have none of those.  The country needs a propper Tzar for the virus, not a religious nut-job.  I'm religious too, but I can still think for myself, appreciate science and behave with a personal conscience, Pence can't.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        I do understand those who can't vote Democrat - I grock that!  But those who vote for this Orange buffoon are misled on a scale that horrifies me.  Your entire political system needs an overhaul.  North Korea is probably handling this crisis better than you.                                                                                                                                                                                                            Sorry.  It is your real friends who tell you the truth.   </p>

Blind belief in anything he says, no matter how outrageous, seems to be a requirement of a Trump supporter. Take the rhetoric that Dems don't want to fund efforts. Dems refused Trump's Covid-19 response package of 2.5 billion because he didn't have any real plan. But yet, Congress is now working on a bill for Covid-19 Response efforts of 8 Billion. Of course Fox News (or any of the Trump Administration) would admit to that.

Y’all, I sincerely try so incredibly hard to keep politics OUT of my online postings. I promise. I wish you could see my Facebook page to know that’s true. I am a teacher in training, and I know my responsibility to keep my public persona as non-partisan as possible. I try to do that here, too, even anonymously.

However, I feel that politics and the way this outbreak is being perceived in the United States have to be discussed together because our president is blending them together. He can’t let any little swipe go. It is practically tradition for one side to complain about the other’s actions. He put in for a package of financial aid to fight the virus, the Dems got snarky and said “Hmph.  We would have asked for more, and sooner.”  Stupid? Yes! Should he have taken the bait? NO!!! He escalated it until it’s gotten to the point that it is false rhetoric, something frightened, broke, angry Americans may try to hold onto in the midst of something they have never experienced before: a pandemic. His actions and his words can cost lives. That’s why I posted this here. Because I fear that this president’s words hold power with the people (which is now obvious). And that power can endanger their lives, if his words are wrong (especially if they’re intentionally wrong, based on angry, knee jerk reactions to his political rivals).  

I love my country. I dislike my political system. I literally weep over the state of my health care system, where some people die because they have to choose between paying for medical treatment or feeding and sheltering their families — where parents of children dead of cancer have to fundraise online to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills for their dead children.

Yes, it is broken. But it’s about to get a HECK of a lot more broken if we don’t reach out to the people who come here and tell them that the truth does not come out of the mouth of the man who is the president of their nation. And that is so very, very sad.
