I thought it kind of interesting that Ferrets display same symptoms as humans... wonder if you had a pet ferret in house, if it could act like the 'canary in the coal mine'?  Interesting...

Now only if I could train a ferret to be my body double for the next six months while I slip off to my hidden cabin in the north woods, I'd be set. ;)
