This is a legitimate, scrappy award-winning journalist with good intel hooks I've never known to be proven wrong. I've never heard him so freaked out. This guy is a veteran journalist and intel guy, and he doesn't run stuff he can't confirm without multiple sources. He's quite concerned for his and his family's safety.

Suggestions of deliberate release and seeding that went out of control. Gates Foundation and Bill Gates involved.  Vaccine profiteering (which could already exist) and financial control. Corruption of Redfield and Birx. Trump being played. Deep State and deep money behind the scenes. It's not a "corona" virus. They panicked and had to shut it down when they found out what it was, what it could do. Clinton Foundation playbook being duplicated by psychopaths. It's going to come out. It's bad. You heard it here first. 

By the way, ever wonder why China shut down all flights from Hubei/Wuhan on Jan. 23 to within China, but still allowed outbound international flights?

What is truly frightening is that anyone is taking this guy's word over the word of scientists, doctors, and public health officials.

Edited to add:  I listened to this guy and his guest blather on for over an hour, and they said nothing of substance.  Their accusations cannot be verified because most of it is gut reaction or just plain wrong.  They talked about the absence of any other kind of emergency happening right now besides covid 19 and I wanted to scream.  That  is stupid.  I lost a friend yesterday.  She had an infection after back surgery and did not get it treated.  Two weeks later and she is dead.  I have another friend who is having surgery in the next week or so.  It is not optional.  Without it she will die.  Stuff is still going on, they just don't have any credible sources.

Condolences to you about your friend, Flubergasted.  And prayers your other friend scheduled for surgery will be okay.  

I really regret that blogs are being taken as "truth" too.  It's messing with people.

Witchy is right about the disgusting twisting-of-information, guesswork-paraded-as-facts and 'politics-before-people attitudes'.

I passed the scream stage a fortnight ago.  Ashamed to admit it though I am, I am even too tired of the whole palaver to fight it anymore.

So, in addition to the greater sympathy for your loss, please add a smaller sympathy for your frustration!

I quite agree.  BuzzFeed is not a great source either, but the guy actually mentions his problems with the FBI in the podcast.  It is an old story, and apparently he his no longer hiding behind his pen name, so there you go.  Doesn't change the substance of my argument.  His podcast lacked verifiable sources.  It was mostly conjecture.  He is throwing around a lot of accusations, but he is the only one in this scenario who has actually been convicted of wrongdoing.

Actually, we have a chance that the world will be a better place. 

COVID-19 is a dress-rehearsal for other, more lethal diseases.  The original SARS in 2003 was a much more lethal virus, which helped in its eradication...MERS is also worse than SARS CoV2. 

Ebola is still churning away in West Africa, and could easily be used as a bioterrorism weapon.  Smallpox may yet re-emerge from a state like North Korea. 

This is a wake-up call, I hope the world wakes up.  If managed properly, the world economy will recover nicely.  Businesses will invest into new technology, and distance learning & working will be a permanent feature of the new economy.  I've been doing this since 1994 for health reasons, and web-based business models will thrive. 

My only concern is that some will push the return to economic activity too aggressively (US and Austria are saying this).   Some jobs will be gone for good, and some industries will have to re-invent themselves completely.  However, I foresee a world economy less beholden to fossil fuels and more focused upon public health infrastructure and sustainability.
